. . . I hope you get to do fun things with family and friends; things like....
Go for a hike
Get together with friends
See something historic
Participate in a sport
Celebrate with family
Have a safe, happy Fourth of July!

Hi! C.G...
I really enjoyed reading your holiday suggestions and viewing the pictorial...[Especially, one picture where my eyeballs popped-out...I safely, placed them back in their sockets.
I also think my "jaw" dropped too!]
Thanks, for sharing the holiday suggestions...I hope that you, your family, and friends, have a good one too!
deedee ;-D
No such luck in the Antipodes, it's the usual Mondayitis. Enjoy your long weekend and the sunshine! (You forgot fireworks - I love fireworks)
Dee Dee: I won't even try to guess what you're referring to...
Helen: No fireworks only because I don't have a shot of them via my husband. It's a given anyway, right?
Did I miss something? My eyeballs haven't popped. haha. Great photos...I just love the family one at the end. All smiles! Have a wonderful holiday!
Great ideas and photos! I'm having 25 people over for a pool party and then we're all going to an outdoor concert and dance, and then to the fireworks! Have a Happy 4th!
If you can squeeze all of that into one day, you would be one whipped puppy! ;-) The beach pictures look like my kind of celebration. Unfortunately, I'm not anywhere near a beach that beautiful.
Happy Independence Day! XOXO
I'm celebrating in Rome but appreciate your photos and wishes. That one of the shore is gorgeous!
spent most of it at a wedding but home now...just in time for the fireworks...would love a hot air balloon ride...we watched 3 cross the interstate in front of us ont he way home yesterday!
Happy Fourth, CG!
These holidays are great excuses to be with family and go to the lake, which is what we did. As I age, though, I have a harder time facing that much socializing, for that long. But it was quite good this year, partly because I decided I didn't need to be 'on' the whole time. I just left the crowd when I needed to.
Just stopped by because you had visited me 'way back when' and I had to tell you how much I enjoyed seeing your suggestions for a fun holiday. Great photos and 'uplifting' descriptions.
Cheers from St. Paul!
Here, here to most of those (in my case can I make it a short hike and a long drink?) And can I issue my usual 4th July apology for what happened 240 years ago.
Great pictures of your family! I hope you had a wonderful Fouth.
Hi California Girl,
