Winter Can Be Soft

The Way Home
by
Cole Scott Photography

A day of snow delivered 3-5" of freshies to our valley.  Driving to work I noticed the soft winter light on the landscape, the snow sticking to trees, the quiet beauty of the season.

Hi! C.G...
The photograph and [imagery]Of the snow scene is beautiful!
[For some unknown reason I really like snow...]
Thanks, for sharing!

It can be fabulous when it isn't too cold. Tonight we're going down to 3 degrees F. That is too cold.

It IS beautiful and quiet... but, 3 degrees is definitely TOO cold. Love that Thaw photo! Stay warm! blessings ~ tanna
ps yes, I wear the shawls. a few have found their way to others... but, mostly not. ;)

Such a serene picture. I like that effect, too.

A beautiful picture, of course, considering the photographer. You're right about the light in winter, although in Western Canada it is often so bright and harsh that you can't even keep your eyes open!
Thanks for your New Year's message - I've had many distractions and hadn't got around to answering you, but it was lovely to hear from you.

Lovely photo! It just draws your eye down the road between the trees... very nice.

This picture really belongs on a set of postcards so many others can see it. It just has a surreal quality about it and a beauty that words cannot describe. Definitely has the 3D look that Brian describes.

Thanks for letting us see it.

God bless.
