Geese In A Row

No kidding.  This is was taken today or yesterday on the main street of our little resort town.  I mean, I thought it was from somewhere else til I recognized the church signs.  It was posted to Facebook by a local.

An amazing photograph. You could never fake something like that, just a great capture shot.

I know!  It's not the greatest photograph but it should be trending because it's so neat!

They are adorable but don't get too close!  They get honkin' mad!

I remember that book.  It was a favorite.  When my sons give me grandkids, it will be on the list along with The Little House, Good Night Moon, The Velveteen Rabbit...

Get the book "Make Way for Ducklings" for your grands. Tells a similar story to the photo but takes place in Boston. Fun read!

that's just adorable.  They fly over our house every day in their V formation.  I wished they crossed the street like that! :)

That is so darn cute! We have tons of these beauties wintering here every year. It seems like more and more of them have decided to call it home.

We get geese flying south, flying north, honking like crazy each season.  Some of the resorts with large lawns and open space get them all seasons but Winter.  They leave large messy droppings and the resorts are always trying to capture them and move them elsewhere.  I think they're cool.  My dogs keep them away from our patch of land but they're often in the open fields across the street.
