My husband is a gifted photographer. His work is evocative, lonely, joyous, complicated, simple. Because I am a literal person, I sometimes do not understand what he's trying to convey and find myself asking the meaning of a particular image. I probably drive him crazy but I also help him clarify as do other photographers who critique and help him hone his craft.

Beautiful images, haunting in some ways - especially the last one.
They are all gorgeous. I love the first one especially...but maybe it's because I spend so much time at the kitchen sink! lol.

In the first photo, I like how the leaves mimic the curve of the faucet. Or vice versa. In the last photo, I like the one bit of bright distinctness that the top of the boat provides.
I really like Wind III. It reminds me of an Ansel Adams shot.

I LOVE the Solitude and the St. Marks River photos. They are hauntingly beautiful.
So, you live with an artist! (that sometimes takes a lot of mental/emotional energy!)
Love the symmetry of the faucet and the leaves (also the unusual combination) and the color and mood of the free range one (somehow it reminds me of the holocaust), and the pic after that with the wind -masterful!
You are not supposed to understand every detail of his work -he's an artist:)

He is extremely talented. The St. Marks River one is spectacular. But Directions just speaks to me. I love how everything is so linear, but those meandering footprints in the sand shake it up a little.

[Postscript: I really like the Faucet and Plant photograph...Because Of the blurry background and the clarity Of the Faucet and Plant. Directions looks like an ink and pen drawing.]
