Imagine

"Imagine" by Cin

This beautiful collage was done by a very close California friend who is an incredible artist.  She has, heretofore, been a watercolorist and is now trying her hand at collage.  She sent me the image and gave me permission to upload to this blog.  I am not printing her last name as I don't know if she wants to publicize herself yet.  She doesn't have a web site or blog.   Her late husband, my husband and I  were close friends since high school.  We met Cindy in the early Seventies.  They had an incredible marriage.  He died of colon cancer seven years ago and it was a terrible tragedy for all but mostly for Cindy.  She stopped painting and rarely picked up a brush until recently.  I am the very lucky recipient of one of her beautiful works.  It is a watercolor of pastel roses in a round crystal vase.  Exquisite.

So happy to see you painting again, my beautiful friend.  Thank you for letting me share.

Very nice either way.

Lovely. I'm glad she has seen herself back to something she obviously loves because she's so good at it.

Hi! C.G.,
I'am so very sorry, to read about the loss of your best friend's husband to colon cancer.

However, I'am happy that she decided to pick up her paint brush again in order to exhibit her natural-talent.

C.G.,
Your friend's painting /watercolour/collage is very...beautiful too!

Thank-you, for sharing!

Interesting! I like that you can't see her eyes.

Coffee: I asked her what she used. She did magazine cut outs and applied to her watercolor.

That really is beautiful. The colors, shapes, and design - it's a very impressive work of art. I hope she continues to gift others (and herself) with her talents.

I like that. Very retro. Glad she is painting again.

This is a beautiful work of art. I like the composition and the beautifully-balanced colors. I hope this the beginning of a new phase of creativity for her.
