Trip to Maine Part I

My husband and I took a trip to the coast of Maine last week. It was Winter Break in Massachusetts and we wanted to get out of here because the White Mountains are filled with wall-to-wall skiiers, snowboarders and tourists. Normally, a trip to Maine in February is probably not a great choice but we discovered we could stay in some very nice places at reasonable rates and receive perks in the way of gourmet meals, spa treatments, etc.  We went on a photography excursion almost every day and I'll post them as he completes his work.

These are three versions of one image, Camden Harbor:

Breaks are great. I'm just ending my winter break and going back to work on Monday. I'm glad you enjoyed youres. And I'm sure you took your camera with you - your pics are really nice.

Hi Brian and Minka: he just showed these to his mother, an oil painter, and she didn't like any of them. Thinks they're "too mathmatical". He's disappointed. But, hey! That's art!

Definitely not my impression of Maine! Beautiful although all his photography is. He's very inspiring.

Sounds like a fun trip! I think that all of the photographs are stunning, but my favorite is version #2.

CG: Those images are gorgeous! I LOVE mathmatical! Please tell Cole that there are others who think they are fabulous. =)

A getaway with food perks sounds heavenly! ~Tanna

Well, I think they're gorgeous! All three! Oh man, I wish I could be there...I love Camden. It's probably my favorite Maine place outside of Acadia NP.

Love the symmetry in those photos. The water is so calm but it still must have been difficult to capture.
