Alice Visits the Garden

This image was created by my husband using the Alice cut out Susan Sanford of Art Spark Theatre sent. She kindly made the offer to send her Tenniel style cut out to anyone who requested one. Our task was to create our own picturesque scenario. My husband, the photographer, had so many different scenarios going, I wondered if he'd ever be satisfied. He went in a different direction yesterday when we had one of our first days of sun. This is in our garden, atop a sunflower, looking to an elusive sunny sky.

Other wonderful Alice scenes may be viewed on Susan's blog. My husband's work may be viewed on his site, Cole Scott Photography.

Hi California girl,

Okay my brain is working now, well sorta. The picture is beautiful with the cutout and Alice is placed just right.

And now I am sending the right tag for you. You've been tagged and you need to visit my site to pick up your tag. I hope you like it.

Now I am off to see what else I did. No sleep is not a good time to do things.

Sorry and God bless.

Mrsupole: are you trying things like tryptophan laden foods (apple, turkey, etc) or L Tryptophan, a supplement you can take? Meditation before bed helps. My husband made me a hypnosis/relaxation tape to listen to when I have terrible insomnia.

Thank you for the nice comment and I'll head over to your site now.

Very, very cool. I have visited your husband's site and he has some incredible work. If I only had some wall space.

Excellent work! Alice is one of my favorite stories. I usually nip down to where it all began in Oxford when I visit. Maybe I'll get a chance again in August :-)
