Rembrandt Light

Rembrandt Light
by Cole Scott

My husband has been working on this for a few days.  He has new studio equipment, lighting fixtures, backdrops, and many items I cannot name.  His mother has a bust of herself sculpted long ago by her best friend.  I've always liked it but never so much as now.  I'm not allowed to tell his secrets.  I don't know them anyway. The bust is not cracked and it is not in color.

Thanks!  I like it a great deal.  Colorful and somewhat exotic.

You are always so complimentary.  I certainly think he is.  :)

Thanks for visiting Barbara and thank you for the compliment.

I'm looking forward to seeing it printed and matted.

A mother's face, sculpted and reinterpreted by a loved one. Presented to us all. Who intuitively understand the beauty of such a work of art.

What an incredibly lovely thing to comment.  Thank you Mary!  We all love this so much.

It reminds me of the Gotye/Kimbre clip "Somebody that I Used to Know" very nice

Baino, had to watch the video as I'm unfamiliar with the artists.  I see why you think that.  I sent the link to my husband.

I replied to you 2 days ago...in the WRONG reply box.  hahahaha.

I had to go watch the video to see the artists to whom you refer.  I see the similarities.
