U.S. Operation Kills Bin Laden

Too exciting not to mention in both blogs.  The U.S. has carried out a two year operation to find and kill Osama Bin Laden.

Awesome news.  For more in-depth links to the news, visit Women of a Certain Age.

"Familiarity breeds contempt - and children."   Mark Twain  (FACT:  Osama Bin Laden was #17 out of 51 children)

Thank you NAVY SEALS!!!

Hi! C.G...
On the one hand,
This news is great...Especially, when it comes to the 911 victims families...On the other hand, I watch International news...

(Which question the Government: Such as: (politicians, (true intentions) nature events like what is still happening in Japan...more so than on American news outlets...People in America have told me that America news outlets don't focus on the disaster that occurred in Japan anymore.)

... with my Father, and we both believe that his death is to tidy.

I feel the American people sometimes want proof...Why throw his body in the sea? I feel that there are too many unanswered questions right now...We will see as the story unfold in days ahead.

Thanks, for sharing!

It's a good thing but I wish Americans would keep a 'lower' profile. It was going to happen eventually. All this yar hooing and celebrating just martyrs a dangerous criminal. The political timing is also interesting but I'm no conspiracy theorist. There are others who have already taken his place and I fear recriminations.

I'm glad he's dead and would have liked to have done the deed myself, BUT, I think we looked like idiots in the streets afterwards. Some solemn gatherings to remember what happened on 9/11 and since would have been more appropriate (to me anyway.)

It's hard not to react with jubilance when our sworn enemy is brought down. President Obama is one cool cat. How he was able to joke and laugh at certain remarks during the WH Correspondent's dinner...I would have been a nervous wreck.

This man was our sworn enemy and caused much heartache in the 9/11 disaster. But he is a man with a family and the sheer glee his death has caused is disturbing.

Two Years? Nonsense. We were hunting him for Nine and a Half Years.

And if it hadn't been for the waterboarding and other enhanced interrogation techniqures employed by the Bush Administation, bin Laden would still be alive and well in Pakistan.

no_slappz: you are correct we've been hunting him almost ten years. My comment should have had quotations marks as it was taken from a speech President Obama made with respect to the current operation involving the Seals, the information gathering from the courier etc.

Thank you for visiting. I recognize your posting name from "Field Negroe". I have another blog which is more politically oriented than this:
