Macro Flowers Saturday

One great thing about gardening is seeing the fruit of your labor bloom.  This time of year, our cottage garden is alive with peak summer flora such as the Shasta Daisy.  It makes a great, long-lasting cut flower, it's cheerful and it's cool looking.

A perfect shot! Didn't know you "did" macro, although I shouldn't be surprized because of your hubby's art!

Cheryl, you must be farther south. We're in northern New England.

Kate, These are lovely flowers, easy to care for, great cut flower AND a perennial!

Brian, you should write a poem about it. :)

Linda M, thank you. It's my husband's work.

Emmile, I'm wondering if you mean I don't or haven't done the Macro Sat before, which I have not. I can assure you, that shot is my husband's. Makes a nice matted piece with a black frame.

That is gorgeous. We just lost a batch of flowers this weekend and can't figure out why. It had rained heavily before we found them, but not that heavily. It looks as though a fat raccoon fell off the fence on top of them or something.

And that is a perfect daisy picture! We have shasta daisies along one side of the house. So cheery!
