I have seen that very same look on my dog's face, even with the grimace! And he always looked so guilty. While our female looked like "Oh yeah, he did it, you got that right!"
ArtSparker: You are the second person to say that. I sent it to one of my friends via email and she said she thought the dog was embarrassed. My husband thinks he's showing aggression but I do not. Now I feel bad.
Let me add to the earlier response - I just saw the same reaction of embarassment from my aged father, who bought an awful prefab bookcase at target and was disappointed and somewhat humiliated when it was put together. It was funny- and I don't mean I'm unsympathetic to my father, or to the dog's shame. It's an area of recognition, I think, as the saying goes, we've all done things we're not proud of.
AS: Thanks for the f/u comments. Interestingly enough, this video went viral to the tune of 4MM views in a week and the couple & their dogs were on GMA this morning.

LOL! I have to send this one along... Thanks for the smile. We are a family of dog lovers - especially goldens and labs. So funny!
that had me howling like a dog! too funny. Nothing can make me laugh like a dog!...just love those two!
Oh I saw this on facebook. I've had labradors all my life but never one with a guilty smile. Delightful.

I just watched this one over at Nancy's blog but I'll have to watch it again, just because. It's just priceless!!!
Pretty funny!
=) hee hee. it is always good to start the day with a good chuckle.
I saw this on the Dish (I'm guessing you may read Andrew also). The dog is ashamed and horrified in equal degrees, poor guy.
