Yesterday was all about the Super Moon.
Today is all about Spring.
No matter what part of the country you inhabit, Spring is a welcome change to our psyches if only to remind us everything old is new again.
Now I don't live in a warm climate but the two feet of snow so recently fallen on northern New England is melting. The days are warmer (40s instead of 20s); we actually hit 65 one day last week! People are smiling again because the sun is high in the sky.
Daylight Savings helps tremendously. No more driving home after work in the dark. It's still light outside at 5pm. You can still do stuff!
I know we're still vulnerable to a freak snow storm, unseasonably cold temps & whatnot, but I'll take it!
Winter, be gone.

Spring is always a welcome guest at our house!! Beautiful flowers.
Couldn't but imagine your nose twitching like Samantha as I read the words Winter, be gone.
We wait with anticipation as the snow melts slowly here and we soon watch the bulbs push themselves out of the ground.
ahhh...i am so glad winter is done...i dont know if i could take much more honestly...its been glorious here the last couple days...
Cal girl living in N E? Well, I'm a Cal boy living in N E. Enjoyed your blog.
Tanna: You appear to have some of the most beautiful Springs. I'm keeping an eye out for the house tour.
Christine: Welcome to the blog! Yes. Samantha Stevens. How many times have I wished I could just twitch my nose?
Brian: I'm tempted to put up a post caveat today because we have a winter storm warning w/ 2-3" predicted. I am totally disgusted.
Berowne: Welcome to my blog as well! Cali boy in N.E...it's an adjustment to say the least! Thank you & please come back.
What part of NE? I lived in Maine for 5 1/2 years. Hence, my move to Italy. Trees are flowering here and all the bulbs are up. I was complaining of the unseasonable cool of 50 degrees this morning but I'll stop!
Noni ("grandmother" in Italian, right?): New Hampshire. I just sent a tweet for our tv stations that said
"Spring in NH = SNOW".
It's snowing right now.
i love your flower pics. Just lovely, after snow i would want to see them too but it doesn't snow in Sydney! http://thatblogyoudo.blogspot.com
Here it's the opposite in CA, believe it or not. Yesterday it dipped to 44 degr. in Laguna Niguel, and heard that the police is directing traffic at the Grapevine, because the snow is back! Never heard of in March.
Love your flowers!
What BEAUTIFUL photgraphs! I loved the colors...
Thanks for posting these!
