Untitled by Cole Scott 2012
My husband took this shot late summer but just recently posted it so it is new to me. I had to ask him what is the object captured?. I initially viewed it as an abstract water color style shot of something unknown. He said it was a lily pad in a little pond he was paddling. I think it's startling! It reminds me of something the fabulous Bauhaus artist, Paul Klee, might have painted.
Or a Pac Man.
What do you think?

Hi! C.G...
I agree with you, it do look like [the type] Of abstract art that artist Paul Klee, would have created...
...Thanks, for sharing your hubby [very] beautiful imagery [photograph] too!
deedee :)
[I also like the artwork by [Paul]Cumes and Lynne Hoppe.]
i think it is really cool...the blue whispiness of it add a mysterious element and the yellow lily pads jump right out at you...
Truly stunning in an ethereal way! I love Klee's work, but Scott's has a sensitivity and purity that has its own aesthetic. Just MARVELOUS!
DeeDee, thank you. In another time (and with a lot more money), I'd have been a patron of the arts.
Brian, I honestly did not know what it is which made it all the more intriguing.
Ethereal is a lovely description. I thought of Klee immediately ...oh, and Pac Man. :)
It is totally lovely, and I intuited it as a lily pad, since I've seen these before. Thank you for sharing it!
DJan, you're smarter than I am...and I've gone paddling with him!
It's D-Day today Jan. Or, is it V-Day?
Just imagine a line of them racing along a grid ready to gobble you up. Oh, its ages since I played that game.
Amazing! Congrats to your husband: he´s a great photographer!
The picture: first I thought of an alien invasion...
Alan, me too.
Tomás, my husband & I are honored. Thank you.
I LOVE the lily pad photo.
