Theme Thursday Flight

This would have been just as appropriate for last week's theme, "Wild" as for this weeks. One of my favorite movies with my all time favorite actor, Robert Redford. Redford's character is an aviator and explorer.

And if that doesn't do it for you, there's always "The Great Waldo Pepper" with one of the great filmed aerial choreagraphies.

How 'bout the real deal?

There's always Snoopy!

The scene from out of africa flying is amazing, one of my favorite scenes and the reason I went to Africa two years ago. I too took a flight over Africa; in a hot air balloon. There are still parts of the world without fences...

SNOOPY!

You know, I have never seen "Out of Afric" or "The Great Waldo Pepper". Have to rectify that, methinks!

IT's been a long time since I watched Out of Africa but Redford was a piece of work in his heyday. I remember them filming "Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines at Henlow Air Base in the south of England when I was a kid. Great fun watching fake dog fights and old planes.
